Our Pro Bono Commitment
Exceeding Our $250 Million Pro Bono Commitment
Jenner & Block has long been a leader in pro bono service, and our dedication to providing access to justice remains unwavering. In response to the growing need for social, economic, and racial justice, the firm launched a five-year pro bono pledge in January 2021. This pledge, which set a goal of contributing $250 million in free legal services, was surpassed 18 months ahead of schedule. By the end of 2024, the firm had provided more than $350 million in pro bono service. Our lawyers have consistently averaged over 75,000 pro bono hours each year, with pro bono numbers continuing to rise alongside the firm’s overall growth. This commitment is a cornerstone of our culture, and we remain steadfast in our mission to serve communities and advance justice for those in need. Learn more about our commitment here.
